Product Overview

A retractable tape leash for dog walks, offered on one product page in three size variants: XS 3 m, S 5 m and M 5 m. Each features flexi® X11-Tape, an elastic soft-stop element, a soft grip handle, a tape guidance system and a braking system. Select the variant for your dog’s weight and handling needs; the three sizes are individual options, not a set.

Key Features

Robust flexi® X11-Tape

The manufacturer describes X11-Tape as extremely bite resistant and robust for demanding use. Bite resistant does not mean bite-proof: do not allow your dog to chew the tape, and stop using the leash if it is damaged.

Elastic Soft-Stop Element

The elastic soft-stop leash element adds flexibility for walking comfort. It does not replace the braking system, attentive handling or keeping your dog close when needed.

Soft Grip Handle, With Variant Differences

XS has a soft grip handle. The supplied specifications list adjustable soft grip handles for S and M, allowing the grip opening to be adjusted to the handler’s hand. Check the selected model’s packaging for the exact handle design.

Tape Guidance & Braking Control

The tape guidance system supports smooth extension and retraction. Use the brake button to stop further extension; shorten the leash and use the brake lock when keeping your dog close at heel.

Optional Accessories for S & M

S and M are listed as compatible with the flexi Multi Box and LED Lighting System. These are optional accessories, not stated as included with the leash. Accessory compatibility is not listed for XS in the supplied specifications; do not assume that S/M accessories fit XS.

Usage Instructions

• Choose XS for dogs up to 15 kg, S for dogs up to 20 kg or M for dogs up to 35 kg. Do not exceed the selected variant’s maximum dog weight.
• Before each walk, inspect the tape, hook, housing, braking system and your dog’s collar or harness. Read and follow the instructions supplied with your exact model.
• Attach the hook to a suitable collar or harness D-ring, never to the ID-tag ring. Use the safety collar as shown in the manufacturer’s directions and ensure that the hook is fully closed.
• Hold the handle securely. Keep your dog close on a shortened leash near traffic, people or other animals. Bring your dog under control and fully retract the tape before detaching the hook.

Safety

• Always keep your dog under control. Tape length and weight ratings do not replace training or attentive handling.
• Never grasp the tape or wrap it around your fingers, arms or other body parts; moving tape can cause injury.
• Use the leash only while holding the handle. Do not tie your dog to an object with it or leave your dog tethered and unattended.
• Children should not use a retractable leash.
• Do not let your dog chew the tape or soft-stop element. Stop using the leash if there is fraying, bite damage or a braking fault.
• Never open the housing: the internal spring is under tension.
• The soft-stop element and bite-resistant tape do not guarantee that pulling, recoil or other injuries cannot occur. Follow all warnings in the supplied instructions.

Care & Cleaning

• Remove dirt from the tape and housing before retracting the leash.
• If the tape gets wet, extend it fully, engage the brake lock and allow it to dry overnight in a safe place out of reach of children and pets. Retract it slowly once dry.
• Inspect regularly for wear and stop using a damaged leash. Store dry; do not open the housing for cleaning or repairs.
