GURU Spin & Chew Bone Interactive Dog Toy (Medium)
Product Overview
Combine chewing and food-reward play with the GURU Spin & Chew Bone, Medium. The toy pairs bacon-scented Chew Perfect™ bone ends with a spinning centre treat dispenser, giving your dog two ways to explore during supervised play. Its Clean & Polish™ surface texture is designed to help clean and polish teeth as dogs chew, but it does not replace brushing or veterinary dental care. Made for enthusiastic chewers, it is durable by design—not indestructible or suitable for unattended use.
Key Features
Chew Bone with a Spinning Treat Dispenser
The centre treat dispenser spins, pairing food-reward exploration with the chewable bone ends. Fill only as directed on the product and use suitable food that fits the dispenser; engagement time varies by dog and is not guaranteed to last for hours.
Bacon-Scented Chew Perfect™ Ends
GURU describes the bone ends as its non-toxic nylon-and-wood Chew Perfect™ material with a bacon scent. The aroma adds interest to chewing, but the ends are toy material, not edible bacon or a consumable chew.
Designed for Serious Chewers
The bone is positioned for dogs that enjoy vigorous chewing. Match the toy to your dog’s mouth size, strength and chewing style, and inspect regularly. A durable design does not make every chewing method safe or prevent all damage.
Clean & Polish™ Dental Texture
The brand’s exclusive surface texture is designed to help clean and polish teeth during chewing. Do not treat this as a guarantee of plaque or tartar removal, dental-disease prevention or pain relief; continue appropriate brushing and veterinary dental checks.
Smooth Design, with Ongoing Surface Checks
The brand describes a design without sharp edges or points. Wear can still produce rough or damaged areas, so smooth-design marketing is not a guarantee against gum injury; stop use if the surface or your dog’s mouth shows signs of a problem.
Usage Instructions
- Inspect the ends, centre dispenser and joins before use. Choose by mouth size and chewing behaviour; the brand’s up-to-60-lb guide is a general recommendation, not a guarantee of fit.
- Follow the filling instructions and load a small amount of suitable treats or dry kibble. Check that food can dispense and the centre can turn without being forced; do not overfill or jam food into openings.
- Offer on a clean, safe surface under close supervision. Let your dog explore the spinning dispenser and chew the ends at a comfortable pace; stop for frustration, forceful crushing or damage.
- Keep sessions manageable and take breaks. Count food rewards towards the daily food allowance and adjust meals as appropriate.
- After each session, remove remaining food, inspect and clean the toy, then store it out of reach. Do not leave it with your dog for unattended chewing.
Safety
- For supervised use only. No dog toy is indestructible. Serious-chewer positioning does not mean chew-proof, suitable for every dog or safe for unattended use.
- Discard immediately if damaged. Stop for cracks, loose material, sharp or rough surfaces, loose joins, or a broken or detached dispenser.
- The toy is not edible. Do not allow your dog to swallow detached nylon, wood or dispenser parts. Bacon scent and the brand’s non-toxic material description do not mean the toy is safe to eat.
- Do not offer a toy your dog could swallow whole. The up-to-60-lb guide is only a general sizing recommendation; assess mouth size, strength and chewing style individually.
- Stop if chewing causes mouth pain, bleeding or reluctance to chew. If any toy part is swallowed or choking, repeated vomiting or other concerning signs occur, contact your veterinarian promptly. For dental disease, damaged teeth or repeated destruction of hard toys, ask about a more suitable alternative.
- Keep the toy and packaging away from children and unsupervised pets. Use food that meets your dog’s dietary needs; the dental texture does not replace veterinary treatment.
Care & Cleaning
- The official page’s plastic-toy guidance is to hand wash or use the dishwasher’s top rack for more thorough cleaning. Follow the actual product’s care label.
- Remove leftover food and debris after play, especially around the spinning centre and openings. Rinse away cleaning residue and allow the toy to dry fully before refilling or storing; do not force the dispenser or take it apart unless the instructions allow it.
- Inspect the bone ends, centre and joins again after cleaning. Discard any damaged toy and store out of reach between supervised sessions.
