the Dog's Garden - Chew - Freeze-Dried Thai Crocodile Pizzle (1 pc)

Product Overview

A single-ingredient freeze-dried chew made from crocodile pizzle sourced from Thailand. Offers an animal-protein choice different from common ingredients such as chicken and beef, with a guaranteed crude protein minimum of 84.41%. Sold individually. Suitable for Dogs.

Key Benefits

Novel Protein

Crocodile offers an alternative to common proteins such as chicken and beef. For dogs that have not eaten crocodile before, it may be a novel protein option; suitability depends on your dog's individual feeding history.

Dental Health Support

Chewing brings the treat into contact with tooth surfaces and can complement the daily oral-care routine. Use alongside regular dental care; chewing does not replace toothbrushing or veterinary dental care.

Skin & Coat Nutrition

Protein provides building blocks for skin and hair. Crocodile pizzle adds an animal-protein ingredient to the treat routine, as part of the everyday nutrition needed to maintain skin and coat.

Protein & Fat Profile

The guaranteed analysis lists crude protein min 84.41% and crude fat min 1.85%. These stated nutritional figures help you consider the treat alongside your dog's usual food and other snacks when planning portions.

Usage Instructions

• Consciously select according to your dog's size and chewing style.
• Introduce gradually so your dog can adjust to a new treat.
• Only offer a piece that your dog can chew safely and cannot swallow whole.
• Treats should make up no more than 10% of your dog's daily calorie intake. This product provides 354.93 kcal per 100 g; account for this when choosing portions and reduce the day's main meal accordingly.
• Always provide fresh drinking water.

Safety

• This is a treat for intermittent or supplemental feeding only. It is not a complete food and does not replace a balanced diet.
• Remove and discard any small end pieces to prevent choking.
• Not suitable for very young puppies. Introduce only once permanent teeth have come through.
• Not recommended for cats.
• If your dog has a health condition, a food sensitivity or is on a prescription diet, please consult your veterinarian before feeding.
• Each dog's health condition and feeding routine are different, so individual responses may vary.
• Handle as you would any natural dried animal product: wash hands after handling. Discontinue use if any adverse reaction occurs.

Safe Chewing Guide:

[General Use]

• Always supervise your dog while chewing.
• Allow your dog to chew properly and avoid gulping down the chew whole or swallowing large pieces.
• Take extra care if your dog tends to gulp, swallow quickly or attempts to swallow large pieces.
• When introducing a new chew, start with a shorter chewing session and observe how your dog chews and responds to the product.
